Thank You

As CHD Awareness Week winds down, I'd like to take a moment to thank my current doctors for the wonderful care they've given me over the last 12 years. We've been through many adventures together, and they've always kept me updated and informed as to what was going on with me and what their plans were for taking care of me. They have not only been my doctors, but my friends and family, too.

As a CHD patient, I can't tell you how important it is to have a team you can trust taking care of you throughout your life. I have been very lucky my whole life to have had such wonderful doctors, nurses, and specialists take very good care of me. It comforts me to know that thanks to the ACHA, there are clinics all over that have the same kind of care I have come to expect throughout my life.

As my life continues, and I move on in new directions, I know that I'll find more wonderful doctors and specialists to take care of me along the way. But I also know that I will never forget any of the doctors that have taken care of me throughout my life. I love all of you, and will keep you in my heart forever.
