Irish Gold Blog Hop

The End of Halli’s Rainbow

St. Patrick’s Day is Sunday, and it’s time to start thinking about green, leprechans, and rainbows. But not just any rainbows; ones with pots o’ gold at the end. Now, the pot o’ gold doesn’t have to literally be a pot of gold. It can be a pot of dreams. The end of the rainbow is supposed to be the place where your dreams come true. For my character, Halli, that pot of gold is becoming a true member of The Chosen.

Halli met The Chosen in book one of the series when Queen Laurali of the elves came to her with a special request. It turns out that Halli is a holy paladin, with the power to heal, and she never knew it. When Queen Laurali told Halli about her gifts, and that she was needed to join The Chosen to help them on an important quest, Halli was very nervous.

She was more nervous when she met The Chosen. They were a family of five, comprised of three elves and two goliaths, the gentle giants of Phantasma. These five people had known each other their whole lives, and grew up together. How on Phantasma was Halli supposed to fit in with them? She was a shy dwarf…

But Halli worked hard to prove herself to The Chosen, and eventually she proved herself to her. She became a strong holy paladin, and a part of The Chosen. She had found her pot of gold at the end of her rainbow: a place where she felt she belonged.

What’s at the end of your rainbow? Let me know in the comments section below. I’ll choose a dream after the hop and email the winner an eCopy of The Chosen. Please leave your email address and file preference in the comment.

  1. I feel as though I might be repeating myself because this is kind of the main question on a couple of the blogs I have already visited on this hop, but I have to say again that I want more hours in the day at the end of my rainbow. I need those extra hours so I can have more time to read ;) There is just not enough time some days when real life gets in the way! Happy St. Patty's Day! I would love to read Chosen! sbereza22(at)gmail(dot)com
